We hope to create a little pocket of joy in your wedding planning through our collaborative work – whether you’d rather have the simple choice of selecting a House Collection and giving us your chosen colours and information, or whether you’d like to have a really good chin-wag and create something really personal – we will take the stress of one of your wedding elements off your shoulders.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and we’re certain that we can bring to life your ideas in one way or another. Whether that’s paper goods, fabric creations, personal touches and hand-finishes – from foiling, to assembling, to sourcing beautiful materials – it is our absolute pleasure.
Hello, I’m Brittany (or Tan) and I am the woman drawing away behind the scenes at behind Pigment + Paper. I am a sentimentalist at heart, with a penchant for creating keepsakes and telling stories.
A love of narrative from studying illustration, an eye for detail from studying Architecture, and a wonderful bundle of friends asking me to design stationery for their wedding days bought me willingly into the world of wedding stationery.
Then there’s Frankl – we say studio assistant, but we all know he’s the Boss. He is our studio pooch – a snoozy, smiley retriever, who is never far from a snack or a cwtch. Taking us on tours of our nearby woodland, he is our tour guide to life – making sure we notice those little beautiful (smelly) things around us.
I am exceptionally lucky to have my husband Rich to be my studio assistant – an absolute tech-wizard and a working psychotherapist (useful for that wedding planning…) he keeps all the cogs turning and all of my systems beautifully intuitive and deceptively simple.
A special ‘Thank You’ to Cat Beardsley for taking the photographs of us for our website – she’s a documentary and fine art wedding photographer based in the beautiful rural county of Herefordshire and is also a completely wonderful person.
